24 Hour Holiday Meetings
Most, if not all AA groups are open from NYE to NYD in some form. If you're feeling a bit altruistic you can sign up to chair or just watch the building and welcome folks. It's traditional. Some have meetings, others activities from dances to Rook tournaments. So, for all NYE travelers there is a safe haven in the storm--an alternative. I've done it more than once and had a great time. Myself, I was never much of a NYE partier for fear of inexperienced drunk drivers hitting me. |
