Day 3 This is day 3 for me and sleeping is difficult. Very restless. And my body needs to adjust I notice. But other than that, things are going pretty well. Not looking forward to New Year's Eve though, this early in sobriety. Had I been sober for 90 days or so, I would probably not have worried about it. Such a strong temptation this soon into it, I don't know. I'll see. |
Make a plan now, you can do it! |
Well done on day 3 Jgreen have you tried mtns ? im not going out NYE i dont think not to anywhere where the enviroment is dominated by alcohol i may go for a meal that sounds nice if im well enough (me & mrs soberwolfboth have colds) |
You could always make very small non alcoholic plans for NYE (I'm going out to an Indian vegetarian restaurant...no alcohol permitted) or just..stay home? :dunno: You'll look back and be glad you made the 'sacrifice', I promise you :) D |

You can do it! So many people die of alcohol related deaths on New Years Eve and never get to see the next year. I think the whole thing is over-rated anyway. Always have...even when I was drinking and before I was drinking alcoholicly. |
I have over 90 days and I am still nervous about New Year's Eve. I have like 8 different plans for a lot of different situations. I think I am making a bigger deal out of it than I need to. New Year's Eve was my big green flag to get messed up. That was always my plan. Drink until I drop. And I always did. I'm curious to see if anyone gets as sloshed as I used to. So far, in other situations I thought everyone was as drunk as me. So far...I have been wrong. Jennifer |
