start of a new day..

Today's is the start of a new day, a new attitude, a new life. The wife is on board with it. I'm excited. The plan is to go to a bunch of meetings in the beginning. We are going to get out and walk. There is a lot of down time during the holidays and have to find positive outlets. I think i have the wrong idea of sobriety. If I adjust my view of being sober, I will fight to keep my sobriety. See I feel like I'm losing something when I say I'm a alcoholic, it's a true statement, but it's a good thing. I will give this a real effort.

Sounds like you have a plan. That's great!! You are not losing anything, you are getting a REAL life!!

I agree.
Although my main company 24/7 is a 5 year old, we have been busy and we have made the most of everyday of the holidays and celebrated to our full potential.

We have done the theatre, the new Annie film (would not recommend), board games, family visits, friend visits, meals out, christmas films, few early nights, few lay in's, visits to Santa's grotto's, Barbie dream house stuff, organising photographs.

I agree with you that you have to get busy, keep busy and if you can make it count!

I wish you the best xx
