Can't sleep
 

Can't sleep and really having an anxiety attack, the last few days I haven't been feeling very good and haven't slept well at all and really have the craving to drink. Think I'm coming down with a cold or flu on top of it. Well posting helps a bit. God I'd give anything to get a decent nights sleep. 1:00 and wide awake, guess I'll go lay down and try again, just can't stop the anxiety, makes it hard to relax. Well I got thru another day sober, guess that's something.:a108:

Same boat, except it's 415 a.m. on the east coast. I'm not experiencing any cravings to speak of, but I've been tossing and turning since midnight.

I'm having a full out panic attack, trying to make myself calm down but it's getting worse, just lack of sleep I guess.

Hang in there Zeppo have you booked apt with Doc ?

This flu really kicked in, not sleeping sure didn't help, good thing I don't have anything I have to do today, feel like I'll be staying by the bathroom. See if my wife will go to the drugstore and get some Theraflu or something.

So sorry to hear that you're sick! Do your best to get rest, even if not sleep, just rest today. Sending lots of healthy, healing thoughts your way.

I had terrible insomnia for the first bit but I quickly learned that I felt so much better with less sleep than I did hungover.

Thanks, amazing how fast this hit me, last time I was this sick was when I quit drinking, that's pretty much what this stomach flu feels like. Writing gets my mind off it for a while.

Remember that you will hit a wall where your body will have no choice but to sleep and it feels sooooo good when that happens.

I need some sleep bad, my anxiety gets out of control when I'm so sleep deprived. my doctor tried a few different meds on me, they work for a while. then don't seem to help anymore.

Also when I'm like this makes me want a drink and I know it's the last thing I need.

Zeppo are you dehydrated ? have you tried rehydration solution for stomach flu ?

it might help calm it down ?

I've been drinking lots of water. my wife was worried I'd get dehydrated .

Please stay hydrated. I don't thank that Theraflu is for stomach bugs so read the label carefully; those cold and flu remedies upset my stomach bit.

I know it'll only last another day or two, I'll survive, at least I hope I will, guess I'll drink another glass of water and take some Pepto-Bismol, it's gotta help.

The good news is that when you are over the flu you will still be sober and proud.

Rehydration sachets stop vomiting if your vomiting Zeppo ?
