Well I was able to send him an email expressing my feelings and thoughts. Email has always been the way we have talked about important things, it broke the ice as to how I was feeling and before long I believe he understood a little of what I am feeling. We were even laughing at various times in the conversation. So I am feeling better.

We are kinda now on the same page....

I am so sorry to hear your news.

How old is he? There are so many good treatments out there now, that there is hope. There are lots of good trials out there as well that you might want to ask your Dr about. I can give you a link to some of them if I can find them. Just PM me if you are interested in that. I hope that it is in the early stages as treatments and surgery can almost cure someone of LC if it is early. Praying for you.

surgery is out because they are too close to the heart, ( or something like that) and the Dr. said at 55 hes in good shape otherwise so should be okay. AS I said the serenity prayer helps when there are things I can't control happen.
