I think that was a quote from a movie, something like "never trust a man who doesn't drink". Had a coworker say that to me last month when I refused a beer at a social gathering and said I wasn't drinking anymore. Had a reply ready "right, because drunks and alcoholics are sooooo trustworthy and truthful." Ordered my iced tea and it was not brought up again.

It really is totally backward, that trust thing. I've never lied more in my life than when I was drinking.
