Merry Christmas everyone!!!
ALMOST finished with all the wrapping, then I'm gonna juice up a big pile of veggies and fruit that I got earlier today, have a big glass of veggie-fruit juice and tidy up the house.
My daughters are with their Mom tonight and come back tomorrow afternoon. My Lady went to her Mom's tonight with her son, so it's just me, the dog and the Christmas tree. Unlike Christmases past - it doesn't feel depressing or lonesome. I feel abundance in my life and being alone for tonight actually just feels relaxing and mellow. All the stockings are filled, the gifts under the tree, the lights twinkling and a light snow falling outside.
It's a really nice contrast to last Christmas Eve, staying up too late, drinking too much, shaking off a hangover Christmas morning with boozy coffee..... then proceeding into a hellacious, final binge. Yep - this is SO much better.

Merry Christmas Eve to one and all--
Staying safe and sane at home. Snuggling with the puppies and watching t.v and coming here to SR. Thankful that I will not wake up with a headache or wonder if I need to apologize and/or be ashamed of anything I said or did because I 'celebrated' until I passed out on Christmas Eve.
Grateful for all the gifts I have in my life -- especially all the wonderful people -- including all of you here at SR. If you are happy being sober tonight - post it. If you are struggling to stay sober - post it. We are all walking together. Peace and Joy to you.

Right back at ya...Soberwolf... and all my SR friends.
Went out for Chinese with my sis. Then later exchanged gifts over tea by a crackling fire. Tomorrow is an "in" day for me. I plan on spending the whole day in a new pair of PJ's whilst I cook myself the traditional fixings (okay, okay..it's a chicken but I got Turkey flavoured Stovetop Stuffing and cranberry jelly!)
