Hi all

Today is day 6, still feeling positive! I had a lot of anxiety this evening as the family all get together Xmas eve and alcohol is always involved. I showed up, had some food, gave everyone a hug and a kiss and made my excuses.

I'm at home now, watching TV and having a cuppa usually I'd be wrecked by now, and would wake up Xmas day wondering who I had to apologise to for my drunken behaviour... Not this year!!

Two more family get togethers to get through... BRING. IT. ON

I have a couple more excuses up my sleeve. I feel bad not being 100% truthful, but I will do anything right now to keep on the sober path. I'm sure if the truth comes out they would understand
