I think a lot of us get sick when we quit because we really beat up our bodies and minds when drinking.
I used to drink through illnesses and ailments...and drunk is drunk so illness or injury never seem to matter.
I do not think that was a healthy way to live tho.
My drinking very nearly killed me.
Stick with it. I'm healthier than I've ever been before. I no longer drink or smoke and I exercise regularly and eat well.
