What a difference a day makes

I can honestly say yesterday was my most difficult day in sobriety so far.
The only thing that stood between me and a drink was my higher power. I prayed and prayed got to a meeting in the night, didn't give up and put my trust in God.
I made it trough the storm and today has just been great. I had a sleep in this morning, got up had a shave, went to the barbers and finished off my Christmas shopping.
What a difference a day makes.:c029:

Nice work, mavrick. The pride I have for myself sober is a supreme Gift, too.

That's the way to do it, Maverick, and the next time, it will be a little easier.

Great reminder that if we ride it out, often the smoke clears the next day.

Great job!

Way to ride out the storm Mavrick.

Mavrick,
It gets easier with time. Stick with it. For now, just get through the next day any way you can. Notice how your body begins to feel a little better every day. Before you know it, you'll realize you haven't thought about booze and don't need it. Then life begins anew.

BTW, really enjoyed working with you in the movie! :)
