More Props to SR for Being a Great Online Community
My turn to start a WE LOVE SR thread.
Kudos to SR for being a great online community. I also participate in a couple of online forum communities for financial planning and the people on those forums can be quite trying on my nerves. Newcomers post about their financial issues or ask some basic questions and some of the experienced posters are just plain condescending and mean in their responses. Then there's the my way is the only right way crowd. (Which is no more true in personal finance than it is in addiction recovery.) Not lashing out at the d-bags is a relatively new skill for me, but it gets a workout on those boards.
This community is incredible in comparison. The mods are busy, for sure, but based on the volume of posts this forum gets they have to censor a very low percentage for content. The membership here is well-mannered and self-policing for the most part, and newcomers are always made to feel welcome.

When i say hundred acre wood i meant SR is a community with lots of diffrent people
like the hundred acre wood and the folk in the picture
I recently read 2 fantastic books callled The Tao of pooh & The Te of piglet (Benjammin Hoff)
