So, I am enjoying my first Day of the Year.
Still alone, still love it!
Indulging myself in coffee - new french press and coffee cups as NY gift from my ex - and treat of ricotta-dates-cocoa-banana. Just can't get enough of this stuff!

Sounds like it was a great, sober New Year's for everyone on this thread.
I was in bed by 10. I see the flashes of the fireworks, and hear the kabooms, from my bedroom, but I had already been in bed for two hours and didn't care to get up to go see them.
Now, I'm sitting with my own fresh coffee. It's about 630 AM here, and I can still see drunk people from out my window. It seems like eons ago I used to drink like that.
