Bats!
Back on the wagon. Day nine sober, after a hard two week binge. 6 days of horrible withdrawals. Anyhow, today i went to a friends house to clean her chimney. She has terminal cancer and gets very cold. I cleaned and crawled all around it. Found a dead bat up inside. Got it burning good. Know i couldnt have done it when i was on the sauce. Felt good to do good. Felt like a human, instead of a zombie.
Hey Tony-
It's great that you're getting back at it. When we slip, I think it's important to get focused again and move forward, rather than putting it off so we can continue to drink for a while. You've been able to ride out the withdrawals and have nine days under you belt, and during a more difficult time of the year due to the holidays. That's fantastic!
I wish you the best with your continued progress.
