Hello World! :)
Hey guys,
So i've decided to join this sight just to get a bit of support really. My name's Andy, i'm 20 years old and I recently finished an alcohol detox. Alcohol has been a major problem in my life now for about 3 years. Most people I speak to say that I'm the youngest alcoholic they've ever met. At least I can now say i'm the youngest [I]recovering alcoholic[I] they've ever met haha. The detox was pretty rough but not as rough as the first time (this is my second detox and my last... fingers crossed). So yeah, feel free to ask me anything and I'll probably be posting on here a lot lol.

Hey Andy- Welcome!!!
I think you'll find a good amount of support in here to help you with your goals of sobriety. Also, good for you for taking a step towards fixing the problem, and at a young age. It's much better to get things under control before other areas of your life begin to suffer, such as your health.
I wish you well with your goals and I hope to see you around in here.

Thank you so much guys for making me feel welcome. I think a lot of people have a stereotype of an alcoholic as a middle aged homeless person with a red face but that is seriously not the case. I've got my first AA meeting tomorrow so I'll be posting on here to let you all know how it goes!

It's great to meet you Andy! How I wish I'd sought help at 20. My whole life would've been completely different.
