From despair to a life I could never have imagined hi I am six months on Sunday, have a page on facebook called Serenity Assured, mind blowing how my life has changed in such a short amount of time, very grateful for the message I have been given by the grace of God the fellowship of the AA my sponsor and working my way through the 12 step programme, went to my first meeting on June the 21st thinking my life was over, how wrong was I? But a day at a time I have gone from apathy to empathy, selfish to willing to help people as much as I can, and thank you sober recovery for allowing me to be able to post hopefully the first of many on here, thank you all for your example ❤️❤️:tyou |
Congratulations! That's what I call turning your life around! You will provide great input for us folks on SR, newcomers and old timers alike. |

Congratulations on 6 months !!! Fantastic ! I found this place 48 days ago in a hung-over fog, a few days later went (back) to AA, and am sooooooo grateful today to have both of these tools in my life. Merry (sober" Christmas !! MJM |

Many congratulations on 6 months :scoregood I hope your post helps people just starting out. When I started out I read similar threads and thought surely things can't change THAT much. But it really is true. Lives change in so many many ways for the better and the first step is stopping drinking. Congratulations :) |
