Get up. Show up. Be responsible. There are days when I wake up and don't want to do nothing. My disease thinking tells me (in my own voice) " we don't have to go to work today, just call in. It can be *sings* Just the two of us!) My disease wants vulnerable at all times. Wants me weak so I can go back to old ways. Not today. Today I choose to be free |
Alcoholism is a relentless disease, but you can recover. |
Well done Diysherman i agree with Anna also |
Hi Ho Hi Ho Off to work we go..!!!! Even if that is the ONE responsible sober thing we do today, then that is HUGE. :) |
Me too. Some days I don't feel like doing anything. Then I realize that the things that I don't get done still have to get done so I will end up with more in my plate later. It's better to just deal with things so they don't hang around your plate. I called it cracking my whip!!! |
