Tiiiiired
I am really lucky that I can sleep well in early sobriety...but I certainly know the feeling of being completely exhausted. I am so tired I could go back to bed already (only 10.43 am here).
I think it's really important to be extra careful with yourself when you are this tired liss my love. It can be a trigger for me. I don't handle outside stressors as well when I'm tired, and I can get very emotional.
You are doing so well hun!!!

I believe I created a post on day 12 regarding lack, actually no sleep. lol I was going insane. Here I am at day 18 and in the last couple of days, I've been able to sleep 3-4 hours continuous hours. I hope this trend is here to stay.

It took me a few of months to get my sleep pattern to level off. Regular routine, same bed time every night, set the sleep timer on the TV, cutting out the caffeine early in the afternoon and not eating too close to bed time seemed to help. Still only get about 6 hours a night at 2 years but that's better than 3. Also better than the passing out and waking up with a bleeding brain ache like I did while drinking.
I watch the science channel for about an hour, How It's Made especially, and I find myself drifting off to sleep soon enough. Furthermore, I cut out any caffeine, chocolate, etc after 8pm. Something to get your mind off things for a bit before bed, some warm decaff tea, and a relaxing environment might help.
Well done on day 12!
