Me...
Hi Stella
I take it you're still drinking? It doesn't get better until you stop and you can't find a way to stop. So that's your focus.
My first step was to talk about it with my doctor. I didn't stop right away but I told him about it, and it made a difference being able to share. I looked up information about alcoholism online. I was sure there was more to my life than drinking more and more, and eventually dying a drunk. Look up 'stages of alcoholism'.
When I was ready to quit, I changed small things about my day to avoid triggers and distract myself, and found SR. Cravings will come and you can deal with them in many ways. They only stay strong for a while.
Try to get help to stop drinking and the rest will take care of itself.
