I'm on day 28 and just can't believe it. Family pre Christmas meal last night, they were on wine which was ok - cider is my downfall and I couldn't have coped if they were drinking that but they know that. I was the taxi driver there and back. Still get awful pangs but am taking Librium - Doctor now wants me to start taking acomprasate (Campral in UK). I have it with me but haven't started. Who knows where this will end but I haven't been this sober for this long in 2.5 years (that was broken at 3 months). Lover and warm wishes to all Amy xxx

Shows that ultimately it's up to us to make the choice and not drink not matter what the circumstances are.

So pleased you're back on track, Amy. I had my first sober Christmas last year and it was in no way as difficult as I thought it would be. And on New Year's Eve, I felt so proud toasting midnight with tonic water and remembering every minute! You're doing great!
