Day 43 - Ton's of gratitude
Hey all,
Seaching for words how to best describe this 43rd day of sobriety - and all I can really come up with is super super grateful. Am re-reading the AA Big Book, with surprising enthausium now frankly. 43 days ago when I decided to stop drinking again, I dusted off my 1987' vintage copy as I knew I was going to have to re-visit. I was very reluctant initially as I had made excuses in a prior sobriety stint that it was an outdated manuscript, really didn't address my situation today, just could not relate, etc. etc. How wrong I was. My favorite passage so far right now is the 1st page of Chptr 2 "There is a Solution".
