Looking for Treatment Center
Hi,
I am new on this site, and I am working my way back to sobriety and freedom.
I'm looking for a treatment center or aftercare facility of a special nature:
I am trying to find a place that is like a working farm or ranch, and/or has animals (hopefully horses), AND (here's the caveat...) Free or low cost (and $5,000 isn't really my idea of low-cost...however, in my search so far it certainly seems to be, when compared to the majority of places that include or feature horses!) Oh, and I'm an adult female, so that makes this slightly more difficult, as I've found facilities that fit my needs for men and for teens, but none for women over 21 so far Oh, and spec Drug addiction.
A few months ago, I had found a facility that was approx. an 18 month treatment center, no cost, working farm, they taught you a trade centered around horses! Yet, NOW, I can not find this again.
a couple of years ago I went and stayed at a Christian Farm, but it was purely a safe house for women while awaiting acceptance into a treatment facility, but they were a working farm (gardens, livestock, horses, dogs, etc).
If anyone could help me out, dogs and horses are a huge part of my life and I would really like to find something that could cater to this for me. However, anything that is either outdoors, and/or any kind of animal there at facility would be great. And I would enjoy a facility that expects you to work on the farm (esp. as these are the types that tend to be free or low-cost, as you work to pay your way....and of course you personally benefit from the work)
Thank you for all of your help! (and please, only responses that address my specific question/post topic...Please no negativity...if you disagree with my thoughts/likes/preferences/life choices, then please just ignore this post, you are in no way required to respond. Thanks!)

There's a 9 month faith based program called the Faith Farm in Boynton Beach, FL. It's no cost and the residents work at a cattle and agricultural ranch and thrift store. I don't know any more details though. They have a website. What happened to the program u found a few months ago? Did they close?
