Trying again

Hello everyone. I just joined tonight. I am trying again to stay sober my longest was 7 weeks and that was 18 months ago. I am really starting to scare myself and want change. I hope I can do it for good this time.

Welcome to SR!

You had a good stretch of sobriety, you can do this again, and permanently this time around.

Hi Kyli

If you have a willingness to change and the willingness to find support when you need it, you'll be fine

You'll find a lot of support and ideas here

Hello and welcome.
You'll find lots of support here. It took many times to try and quit before it finally took.
I was scaring myself with my consumption and the nightmare of the hangovers, too.
Best to you.

I'm trying again too. I only lasted one day last time. I'm in a much better head space now and I have a horrible hangover.

7 weeks is great. So you know you can do it. The hard part is emotional sobriety. If you are willing to change it will happen
