Hooray!! Hurrah!! Good for you. 12 days is a wonderful accomplishment.
Those first few weeks are rough, but one of the first improvements that I noticed was how much better my sleep was. No waking up in the middle of the night with night sweats and pounding heart, unable to get back to sleep until 45 minutes before the alarm goes off. Now I occasionally wake up at night, but I can fall back to sleep. And in the morning, I still find myself awestruck by how rested I feel!

Wow can I relate to the feel good but crap part! Glad to hear someone else hanging in there. Day 5 here and the first sober Saturday since.... Wow, don't know! I may actually eat the meal I'm preparing rather than pass out before its done or just be too drunk to want food!
