bignasty

Thank you everyone for your kind wishes and I look forward to continuing this on this board. I went out for a meal with my girlfriend and my friend and his girlfriend and after we ended up in a bar. He doesn't know I am staying off the alcohol and anyway to cut a long sotry short he went up to the bar and ordered 2 vodkas and dashes for the ladies and two pints of lager for myself and him.

He put them on the table and I thought to myself I am going to have to drink this or explain in front of everyone but I ended up drinking half the pint then thought to myself why am I doing this and took it to the bar and said you will be very shocked but I don't want the ret of this and got a juice instead.

I don't know if this still showed a weakness as I still drunk half the pint(1 unit of alcohol) or a more positive side as I stopped half way through and gave it back to the landlord.

Any thoughts anyone? Did I do the right thing or have I let myself down for drinking half of it?
