Way to go, hopeful and mbrett!! :You_Rock_

Be sure to make plans, even if the plan is just to relax: I found myself sleeping a lot in the beginning~ and keep checking in.

Dang! Sorry for the triple post, although your achievements deserve three bravos, for sure!

I love what you're saying above about waking up on a Saturday morning not hating myself. This website and chat room rocks! And yes, if I have time to pick up a drink, I have time to pick up this iPad and enter a chat room instead!

It seems like a multiple post day Matilda123, I did the same thing! Actually I'm still figuring out this website, I've really only made it as far as simple posts in the newcomers to recovery section. Need to explore. Thank you for your support and I hooe you're doing well too.

That's great Brett, how do you feel this morning? Quick question to all. Is it normal to have sleeping problems when you're not hammered?

Hope everyone is feeling just fine today, we made it through another night. Tonight will be my night 5!

Yes it is. Our brains have been programmed to saturate with alcohol to induce sleep and when the alcohol is removed the brain has to figure out how to induce sleep naturally again. The good thing is once the brain figures it out you will have the most restful sleep ever.

Good to know, I now look forward to a good night's sleep!
