Great post. I'm also so sorry to hear of these issues DPG. Sounds like you're going through some tough personal hardships. I don't blame you for being upset. All of us - Hindus, Christians, Muslims, and Atheists - must deal with life's curveballs. It doesn't seem the we've got a consensus on who exactly we can "hate" for this yet, but we certainly can support each other. And we're here to support you during these tough times. All the best.

My old nana was pretty smart. She used to say 'life is hard...if it wasn't it'd be heaven - and what would be the point of that?'

I'm sorry for your loss and pain ((dG)))
I'm sorry for your friend too (((Raider)))

I think it is a bit presumptuous for me to know how my daughter's death fits into God's master plan for the universe so what can I do but to accept the things I can not change or understand

Anger is part in the grieving process. It will pass. God may challenge us to see how we handle it but never gives us more than we can handle.

I have been through the same. Multiple losses of my family over a short period. When I lost my wife I threw away my big book and my Bible. I walked around my house screaming at God and calling him the filthiest names I could think of. I went back to drinking after 15 years sober. None of it helped !
All I can tell you is it takes time. It's been 3 years and now I enjoy Christmas again. I don't get angry at the lights or the songs. I'm happy for the families with little ones.
You'll get there.

All the best,

Ron
