I've enjoyed day 8 soooo much!

Hi everyone!

It's 8.35pm in the UK and I'm snuggled up in bed, watching TV after the most productive day EVER!!!!

I took my daughter to school, came home, as I don't work Mondays, made a chilli con crane and put it in the slow cooker. I did all of the ironing. Sorted out so many parts of my flat that just had 'stuff' in! Made lunch. Completely blitzed my daughter's bedroom. It looks amazing! I then picked Molly up from school, taking with me the letter from Santa I had ordered for her on my first day sober! Brought her home, gave her the homemade chilli. I then took her to her Rainbows after school club. Came home, had a bath. Molly was dropped off by her Dad. We played and read a story. I put her to bed with cuddles and giggles and I brushed my teeth and got into bed to watch TV.

This probably sounds quite boring to most people, but for me it was amazing! A wonderful, clear headed day. It was a beauty!

Roll on day 9.

Lots of love everyone,

Natasha

I still revel in the most mundane days. The fact that we get so many things done in sobriety blows my mind and here is the kicker...we enjoy it! congrats! i am so happy for you!
