My first ever post-I've visited a few times but was never brave enough to join. I know I can't keep going on as I have been I'm tired of feeling awful all the time, and so scared of possibly ruining the relationships that I have! I've been doing this for so long It's going to be very difficult- 4-5 drinks a night. I am very scared of any withdrawal I may go through

I think it's great that you've decided to take action with your drinking. And yes, it would most likely affect your relationship in a negative way in time.
You might want to consider speaking to your doc if you're concerned about withdrawals. They can give you a Rx to help with that, if they deem it necessary.
