Congratulations! As Anna said, getting your depression sorted out will be huge for you. I suffered with depression for years that I masked with alcohol and only finally started addressing it in the months after I quit drinking. The difference, though? Night and day. Not saying I am dancing on the lawn with my dog or sliding on rainbows but once you get that crack of daylight in after all that darkness? Total game changer.

To be honest guys, if I can do it, anyone can.
At 10, I was a lost child, confused and overwhelmed.
At 20, I was a vain, self-centred rebel with a huge sense of entitlement and a God complex.
At 30, I was a grumpy, ungrateful, overweight mother with a trail of destruction behind me.
At 40, I was an unhealthy, aimless loser with a raging addiction and paranoid delusions.
At 50, I was a numbed- out, cynical, joyless co-dependant with a severe anxiety problem.
At 52....I've found SR, AA and the road to a better life
