Hi everyone, I just joined & I'm looking forward to it. I have been so depressed feeling that there is something wrong with me to keep being so co-dependent. I am a member of AA for over 17yrs but I have such a hard time with family & not saying no. It has been going on for yrs, 1st my Mom who lived with me for so many yrs & controlled me w/guilt, then my X husband & now my daughter who is a drug addict but trying to go straight & is in jail. It's like I have no life of my own & it's not fair to me or my husband.

You will find you are not allone and there is plenty of support here.

best is right. The Nar-Anon forum's your best bet for co-dependency issues and there's ALWAYS alot going on on that forum. Also, have you tried Al-Anon or Nar-Anon meetings? Feel free to say whatever's on your mind!

Thanks everyone, I took your advice & looked up that forum & I'm gonna look for a group around here. It's gotten to the point I put myself last all the time.
