It's a very interesting thing! I've heard that the body will reject things that are toxic to it by feeling nauseous and getting prepared to throw it up to keep it out of your system. This is especially true in the case of food allergies, food poisoning and somewhat in early pregnancy. Perhaps your wise body has developed a wonderful survival mechanism to keep itself healthy!

It's weird, but in the days leading up to actually quitting completely it all started to taste bad to me. I was still drinking it, but it just tasted 'off', like I got a bad batch or something. Not sure I'll count on that as deterrent for the future. I think my body was just saying, "enough already!".

I'm only 9 days sober. I have smelled and tasted JD when it was nowhere around.
Didn't make me sick but really freaked me out!!!
