Happy Thanksgiving; What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for my wife, she's the best partner in the world. My perfect balance, the rock of our family, and the yang to my crazy. Twenty years ago, God blessed me with her image, today God continues to bless me with our union.
I am thankful for my daughter. Eleven years ago on Christmas, our bundle of joy made her grand appearance. Today, she knows just how to hug you when you feel vulnerable, and how to sass you when you feel invulnerable.
I am thankful for my son. Not three days after celebrating my daughters first birthday did he insist on stealing the attention. Three weeks ago he asked me for a road bike so he could accompany me on my morning rides. I can't believe the blessing it is to be able to share in your passions with your children.
Three years ago, God, my family and my friends got underneath me and propped up my sobriety. My most prized possession and most charmed experience: sobriety. I'm thankful that I have learned how to live again.

I am thankful for my health and my family and for having everything in my life including good luck. I'm going through a good patch and I am enjoying it!
I'm also thankful for finding this site after googleing sobriety...

Thankful for having a great family, and warm loving home. I'm thankful for a rewarding job. Although I make little money I get paid with appreciation and can make a small difference in peoples lives. Thankful for the elderly that I work with that have given a whole new perspective and appreciation of life. Thankful that I now realize that material wealth does not equal personal happiness. I'm thankful that have been given the strength to put down the futile struggle in my brain and achieve clarity and contentment.

Happy Thanksgiving to you Chilly! I'm grateful I was up early enough to get in and out of walmart for the gravy I forgot yesterday. Also grateful for Charles Schultz and Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving as it was a much better watch than what we tuned into 2 nites prior. This morning much better.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too Chilly! Very very Thankful to wake up this morning sober - 27th day in a row. Thankful for a supporting & sober family, and a brand new great nephew at 1:30 AM - a Thanksgiving baby !!! Among many other things, I am grateful for my sobriety and recovery, something that wouldn't have been possible without SR.
