Hi everyone.I am a 5 year breast cancer suvivor dealing with long term effects of chemo.My onc had me on oxicodone which she had me taper off.I had built up a tolerance/ addiction.As of last week the worst of the withdrawl symptoms are over but i am left with the pain I was medicated for in the first place.Hoping to find some folks in similar situations.Looking foward to meeting you.

Welcome to SR, good first step :) Have you talked to your Dr about other forms of pain control?

thanks for the welcome!My onc has been my savior in terms of my cancer treatment,but less than helpful with pain .I am trying acupuncture next week for the first time.Hoping that will help!
