Thx Purpleknight! So far so good! I arrived late and am gonna leave early. All the heavy drinkers aren't here yet and most people are only drinking wine right now. I HATE wine! If that was the only drink in the world I wouldn't have anything to worry about! Lol

I watched Rain In My Heart, the documentary about alcoholism on YouTube last night! OMG! Have you seen that? So sad! That helped me remember why I don't want to drink today!

I'm still hanging in there...by a THREAD! Just had a pretty bad craving but am taking deep breaths and getting ready to leave to go home with my puppy. God these people drink alcohol like its water!!! Annoying!

I made it! A sober thanksgiving despite being around a bunch of drunk people all day! :-)

...actually I wasn't even tempted and was really content on not just my choice not to drink but more so my decision to choose to grow

Hi Serenidad, I was thinking about you, how did it go. BTW, I am sorry if I made lite of your situation I didn't mean to, I have the type of personality where if I "have" to do something, I try (sometimes harder than other times) to make the best of bad/unwelcome situations figuring that it will pass. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't - I hope you are waking up feeling great today, I am guessing everyone else is not - Have a great Friday and weekend!
