This isn't the time to be on this site.

Go to bed, come back when you are sober, okay?

I think you need a plan of action twentyfive.

You've had some sober days...those are the days I think you need to make a plan - find support, see your Doctor...make it as hard as you can for you to return to drinking?

I think you made this thread because you want to stop drinking. There's a lot of support for that here

If you're anything like i was...You'll come back upon this thread with sober eyes tomorrow...And think *What the hell...Did i post this?...When?....*

It shows me a part of you wants to not drink. It's powerful and scary to be driven by the compulsion to drink regardless.

For me...I needed to give up. COMPLETELY and change a whole whack of things about my life.

I'm 53 days sober now. My life is different..I go to AA a couple times a week...I call and talk to my sponsor daily. I work the steps of recovery with him.

Do i feel like i know what i'm doing all the time? Nope.

But i'm sober. And that's all that matters. When i'm sober i have a chance.

That's all i want in my life. A Chance.

The road to recovery is always here...But YOU need to start walking the path.

You don't need to do this alone.

You haven't failed until you refuse to give it another try.

My friend don't give up, when you're sober just start again, take a look at what happened, at what point exactly did you decide to drink again? Is there anything you could of done at that point to resist that first drink? What happened?

When you start to ask yourself these questions you begin to arm yourself against addiction.

Don't give in to despair, sober up, get right back into sobriety, you can do it.

Probably your best bet today would be to get rid of the alcohol you have and start drinking some water, and then maybe get some rest. There is no rule saying you can't post here while drinking, but you may not remember and it might not make a lot of sense if you are too drunk.

The first and last time I posted drunk, was the last time I drank. I woke up the next day and realized I wanted sobriety more than anything else in my life.

I hope that ends up being your story too Twentyfive.

I'm the one who said that.

Because, last night I posted several responses to you. I tried to help.

I won't read your threads anymore. It's painful, I don't want to see it.

Good luck to you, twentyfive.

Anyone who wants to stop drinking is welcome to post here, twentyfive,.

I think you'll get way more out of SR sober tho

if people take time out to post to you...personally I think they deserve a little more than you being 'vaguely aware' of their responses.
There's been some great advice and experience shared in your threads.

I hope you'll read your threads again sober.

Aw! Come back tomorrow!
I had to quit because of my horrible blackouts too
I don't mind that you posted drunk, while I would rather you not be drunk, it reminded me of my ridiculous blackouts and made me remember why I'm not drinking.
Tomorrow is a new day <3
