Three weeks !!! & things are looking UP
Hey all,
Three weeks ago this morning, I was miserable, disqusted, and was suddenly very teachable. Alcohol had once again completely kicked my a$$. Registered here while in my hangover fog, spent almost the entire 1st 24 hours here, started going to AA meetings a few days later, and one day at at time, have now strung together 22 days alcohol free - woohooooo !! My brain now seems to be gradually thinking more about NOT drinking vs. sub-consicously plotting my next binge. Thanks everyone, could not have come this far without YOU !!! Living in a state of grace - not sure how or why. God Bless. Peace-out. MJM

Not sure how or why... I felt that same way. Why after wanting and trying to quit is it working this time? It makes each day's victory that much sweeter. Gratitude becomes the new go to emotion. Congratulations and big hugs!
