I'm in - although I might not be around much. Flying to Las Vegas on Saturday, driving to Grand Canyon on Monday, Hiking down Tuesday, up Wednesday, back to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving, flying home Saturday.

What a week it will be - Las Vegas sober TWICE and hiking the Grand Canyon in between. Helluva way to celebrate the big 5-0!

PK has a bit of a stutter this weekend. I have been seeing a lot of that recently!

I'm in....and I may need the support over the weekend, on day 7 at the minute coming from a pretty hard 3 week relapse.

If i've got any energy thinking of cooking a home made curry as a treat for me and my wife.

When I was super new, and even now, the feelings of solidarity and allegiance I feel towards my fellow passengers has carried me through a rough week and gives me something to look forward to instead of drinking.

I had a tough week which I will talk about later when I'm not typing on phone.

oh, nons, I assume your going in from the south, take the trek out to plateau point - turn left at indian gardens, then come back and continue down to the river from there. make sure you have enough water!

I'm in and looking forward to a sober holiday season this year!

Happy birthday Nons! That sounds like an awesome way to celebrate your big day. I hiked the Grand Canyon 19 years ago. What an great experience.

I was wondering about PK this week, he's not been as chatty lately.

What's soon on five oh Weas? My odometer rolls over from 49 to 50 on Monday. I have nothing as exciting as Non planned for the big event. I'm chaperoning a field trip for a bunch of nine year olds. Happy Birthday Non!! 11/64, a fine vintage!

This thread ought to be called Birthday Weekender! I turn 55 on Sunday! (I'll qualify for Senior Discounts now...WAAH!).
