Staying Strong!!!

Hi, Im sorry, but I dont feel like going to AA at this time. I've been faithfully going every week for 5 months, but 3 weeks ago I just stopped going. I dont even want to go tomorrow nite. Im going to try to but, I've been strong!!! Im still sober and clean and enjoying life!!!! Maybe I'll feel like it tomorrow... As long as I dont slip I should be good... Right??? I know it sounds like Im trying to convince myself... :c004::c004:

Many of us don't attend AA meetings Indio. You've nothing to apologize for. I'm glad you're sober and continuing to heal.

No reason to apologize at all.

I hope you stay strong, too and congratulations on your recovery.

Yes, not drinking is the point.... however, dealing with the underlying issue's that made you drink will strengthen your sobriety and make your life more enjoyable.

You're kind of over AA, fine, but please consider getting some help to work on yourself. It's not just about the alcohol and drugs.....

Good Luck!

Hi Indio :)

It's entirely up to you...but I'm wondering how much of this is about AA and how much is about your 'so-called sponsor'?

Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater, is all I'm sayin' :)
