Day 3 - Coming back to Earth.
 

Day 3 of Recovery. Finally slept last night, thank God. I know I am getting old because of how long recovery is taking in the last few relapses I have had.

I feel irritable but thank god I am sober and getting back to the real world. The last few days and nights have been Hell. I do not want to go through this ordeal ever again. I am going to attend AA meetings today and planning on conquering that initial urge to drink that leads to impulsive actions.

I am grateful for everyone here for your support and encouragement. I truly feel with each others help and God's we can beat this disease for ever.

Great job ms - I'm glad you slept better last night, I hope today is a good day for you. Keep it going. You can do it and like you said - you never have to go through it again.

Congrats on Day Three. Day three was the day I went to my first AA meeting too. I went to a women's meeting and cried all the way through it.

The first few weeks, my sleep was all over the place. I found out if I drank some hot chocolate, I could go right back to sleep.

I am going to a meeting at 230 and will try my hardest to do 90 meetings in 90 days!

First 2 days were hell for me!
