Yep i cant do it
How are you this morning, Waterfalls?
In the early days I had to avoid other peoples' drama. I've heard Dee say, "I resigned as Master of the Universe." It's so true. If people tried to drag me into their problems, I had to bow out. They have to solve them in their own way at their own time, you know?
The other thing was I got a lot of sleep and I ate a lot of food - to try to begin to heal the physical body. I don't think picking up more work/stress would have been helpful to me, but then I'm not even working so what do I know
My goal in the early days was Serenity. Only. No other job. I watched a lot of TV, I took walks in nature, I called people who were positive forces. I went to AA meetings for a while. I spent a lot of time here. It kept me focused on my needs and my tasks.
A routine is really good. A list of chores to be done and ticking them off are really good. Exercise and healthy food are great. I also pray and meditate.
I hope you find a way to bring peace to your life.
