Give Us Two Reasons Why You WILL NOT Drink Tonight
The weekend is here! And we all know how wonderful a Friday night after a long week of work is for us sobering souls! <---sarcasm..
Anyway maybe we can all share two reasons why they won't drink tonight!
Mine are-
1) Because watching the sunrise after a good nights sleep is wonderful.
2) The money saved from drinking can be used for a nice Saturday lunch date with my wife!
Anyone else?

1.) I have an 8:15am Les Mills Body Pump Class to go to and then a bit of treadmill time.
2.) I want to avoid the usual self-loathing session that always occurs after I end up giving in to my AV and drinking.

1. I'm gonna watch "Constantine" on NBC, and I wanna remember everything that bloody ******** says. Because he is the greatest.
2. Alcohol is for squares, the cool kids are drinking peppermint tea.

Someone mentioned coming to Tahoe sober. Hey, I live at Tahoe!
1. It's going to kill me if I don't stay stopped.
2. I love life, so see #1.
3. Tired of what the booze has done to my appearance. Ready to look radiant and fit again.

1) I just spent the day with my parents, niece and nephew. Wouldn't have been possible if in was still drinking, I'd have cancelled or dragged myself along hungover. Instead was fresh and in the moment and laughing and so grateful!
2) I am loving sobriety. I am enjoying having a clean home, waking up without a hangover or withdrawals, being responsible, honouring my commitments, going to meetings, working with my sponsor and being part of life.
One day at a time.
