Hello and Welcome u2me47,
I understand...I'm fairly new here too...today's my second day of no alcohol...and I'm thinking I might lose my sanity now that I don't have my shields up. Pray I make it through the day. I feel the anxiety coming on.

Peace ..

My prayers for you to make it through the day. Suggestions that helped me were to only deal wit the next few minutes at a time rather than worrying about all day or all week.

Eventually the cravings, anxieties, and such will get farther and farther between until at some point we realize that the obsesion has lifted.
