Congrats on day 2

I drank enough to know there was a serious problem. It is not when we drink or how much we drink. It is how alcohol controls us

You did not let us down. You are in charge of your own sobriety.

The first step is deciding to quit drinking which you have not accomplished yet.

I don't feel let down Sobes - you're not doing this for me

Can you think of any changes you could make to help you stay sober?

It took me a long time to finally quit. I had many starts and stops. Just keep trying, and don't ever give up!

You don't have to stop socializing altogether. But you need to change how you socialize and, perhaps at least for a while, with whom you socialize.

Lots of us have chosen to limit our socializing until we are strong in our sobriety. If that's what it takes to keep you sober, that's what it takes!

First you have to decide to really quit. You seem to want to moderate. If you have a problem with moderation it just leads to binge drinking.
