I freak out about stuff like that. Running around and stewing over the ungrateful wretches. Never occurred to me to ask for help before I started swearing under my breath peace and quiet is a great thing though and I'm glad you have that now.

Just put Grandma (and Mom and Sister) in the car for their trip home. Such a great visit! Lots of looking through old pictures and even a little football watching.

I haven't been online much. Hope everyone had a good weekend. I sure did!

Opening Day

In mentally re-tracing my steps via my Scotch-addled Brain, I realized that I don't have a spare Garage Door Opener sitting up at our Mountain House. See below a Pic from up there at ~9,050'. SOOOOO, I already did my Due Diligence on line this morning, and will get a new Chamberlain Belt Drive Opener at 'Lowe's' in a bit. Great Reviews; especially from a Pro who installs them. I used this Brand out West at the Ranchette. If it's Monday, it must be Garage Door Opener Installation Day.

We have this massive I-Beam holding up part of the Garage Ceiling where an Exterior House Wall sits above. I had to cut away some Drywall years ago to make clearance for the Opener Track. I just got it to fit and work properly with ~1" to spare. One less Installation detail to muck with today. In theory.

I've installed about 3 of them, so at least I get to make new mistakes installing this one instead of repeating old mistakes. Sorta like Life in general, eh? Mebbe I'll just blurt out a string of Obscenities right now, and get them out of the way preemptively.

A ~3 day [or more] Arctic 'Blast' is heading this way tonight, so I need to find my Knitted Wool Codpiece in order to stay warm. Wish me luck.

Ahem.

There once was the month of November
With Food and good times through December
But, now that we think
And skip the bad Drink
We wake up and actually remember

Burma Shave

Sober. That's the way - uh huh uh huh - I like it - uh huh uh huh...

Good morning eveyone. Last day of my family reunion weekend. Going to make the most of it and cherish the time with family. It's been a challenge, but wonderful also. I'm so glad to wake up feeling good this morning and am grateful that I didn't drink. ..
