I thought this would be a good supplement to my counseling because I've been finding myself thinking more about having a drink. As much as I know how it has screwed up my life on every level. AND more than I want a drink I want my old life back.

I'm new too. It's my 2nd day sober. What about you? Are you using any other forms of recovery?

welcome to both of you, get a recovery plan in place, and explore here on sr there is some very good advice

I only joined a short while ago, I use the 12 steps of AA and ive got 2 months sobriety

Lima bean: Hi, day 18. I am working with a counselor, on librium (for long term withdrawal symptoms) and am on naltrexone (for the first time). Idk if it's working. I think I might go to an AA meeting to meet some people. My family is kind of fed up (drunk dialing, etc.) Good luck. I know it's hard.
