Long name - "The Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Workbook: Practical DBT Exercises for Learning Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotion Regulation, and Distress Tolerance" by Matthew McKay, Jeffrey Wood, Jeffrey Brantley It teaches you mindfulness techniques as well as skills for getting through a crisis, improving mood, and getting your needs met in relationships and dealing with overall stress. The steps are concrete, not theoretical so you can actually work it. It addresses ways to deal with urges to self medicate as well. It's cheap too - about 13 dollars. |
