Tough day but I'll make it

Hey everyone,

15 1/2 days in and still sober but today was a fight. Thought an awful lot about gettin at er tonight. Instead I hopped in my truck and just started driving. I'm stopped so I could sign in here and post this and send a few PM's. I've read the cravings only last 7 minutes a few times now but that wasn't the case for me today. I'm glad I made it. I cant start from Day 1 again. Well wishes to everyone fighting the early battle!

Hunting is my passion...it's not just a party. I had no choice but to go! Thanks for all the support. Nothing yet...still have 4 days to pass up before shooting anything.

We've been sober the same amount of time! And today was MY worst day too! Emotional mess for sure. Anxious as all hell and very obsessive thoughts about my health and mental state. I'm glad this day is almost over, to be honest. I can honestly say I was having a panic attack for half the day.

... I'm sorry that your day sucked also but I'm slight relieved that I'm not the only one who feels bizarre at 15 days. Glad you posted on here. Congrats on over two weeks!!

Hey, Coffee, hang in there. Yeah, I think I had a bad day about day 15.

I'm feeling less stressed here at day 20.

Let's both make it a month, huh ?

Good for you for (hopefully) powering through! I drank at 16 days and it was sooooo not worth it. I feel like my sobriety has been derailed ever since. Stay strong, and keep posting!
