My dog is glad I'm sober.
I have an awesome 1 1/2 year old yellow lab/mix. During the 11 months I relapsed I wasn't the best dog owner in the world. I didn't neglect him or anything but we didn't go on as many walks and trips to the dog park as I should have taken him on. However, he was always right by my side trying to be my friend. I just didn't notice him as much when I was drinking.
Over the last several weeks since I got sober we have been walking 4 times a day and going to the dog park when the weather permits. I can tell he is much happier and he seems to have forgiven me after some special dog treats and getting out more. If only all the other people in my life were as easy to get back on my side.
Anyway I love my dog and he is doing a great job helping me stay sober.

JT i have a JRT (jack russell terrier) my dog is good looking built awesome & completly gone
Your dog looks amazing and i know what you mean when i sobered up my dog became a lot happier he was a lot happier with all the new walking my gf spoils him but hes one of us at least thats what he thinks lol
