Need help

I'll keep it short. This app just deleted a book I just wrote explaining myself drinking since 14. Progressed, now 30 years old. Can drink a pint of vodka a night. Didn't start getting bad withdrawl till this past year. Went to a detox. Was sober for a month. Then got **** slammed on my b day and have been drinking for a week straight now. Lost my girl, lost my job. Scared ******** of withdrawal and don't want to go back to detox because of stupid pride. Trying to wheen myself down and doing a **** poor job. Just looking for a little advice

I hope that you go to a detox center or hospital to get the care that you need.

Sometimes you have to let go to gain ground. I second Anna, swallow your pride and get help. Detox can be deadly.

I echo the others; detox can be dangerous. Medical intervention is the best option.

Swallow your pride and get the help you need. Please.

Hi.
This is often referred to as the ravages of alcoholism. Alcoholism is progressive and deadly sooner than we want.
The way to win is to surrender to the fact that we can’t drink in safety, one day at a time in a row.
It will take work and changes are needed. We have a great tendency to want to do things our way which usually don’t work.
I suggest reading a lot of posts on this site and attend AA meetings even if you don’t want too, it’s a lot healthier than where we are headed if we continue to drink.

BE WELL
