I'm glad you're back Jack - you really can keep this up long term...and be happy with it.

Your AV is full of it

Hi Jack. You're not alone in this - most of us have stumbled. I think I needed to convince myself that I really had no control once it was in my system. Glad you told us about it and are back with new determination.

You are all the best. I can't thank you enough for the support, and advice. It has made me feel able to get this thing done. I know what I have to do now. Some really great advice, all sincerely appreciated. Hope everyone is happy, well, and thriving. I've learned a lot in the last 24 hours.

Almost everyone slips, what matters is that you're getting right back to working on your sobriety. Think of what you learned from this last time, now you know what to be careful of when you're feeling really good.

Glad to hear you are back at working on your sobriety right away! As others have said, when I feel the best is when I have to be the most alert. I learned that after seven months of sobriety and a slip that turned into four months drinking. I, too, am finally back on track again and I have learned so much from my latest fall. I look back on those seven months and they were wonderful. I'm already starting to feel like I did during that time and I'm alert now more than ever. Keep at it and stay strong!

Same thing happened to me last week. I had 13 days and felt great. It will never make sense. Come back, learn what you can from it, and try again. We're in this together.
